Rockjumper
There are only two species of this bird known, the Drakensburg Rockjumper and the Cape Rockjumper, both endemic to South Africa. They have a distinctive loud wheeeeoooooo sound to their call, orange-red breasts and red “underpants”. The female is slightly less colourful than the male. Read more
